EXOSOMES

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are located in our blood. They’re tiny extracellular vesicles, whose size and origins vary and they’re surrounded by a membrane. They also belong in the wider category of extracellular vesicles (EV).

These are the three types of extracellular vesicles:

  • Apoptotic vesicles (>1000 nm)
  • Small vesicles (100 – 1000 nm)
  • Exosomes (30 – 100 nm)

Exosomes are responsible for transporting and delivering biological information at the cells. They also transfer a big load of proteins and nucleic acids in other cells, affecting their behavior. These vesicles can fit in them up to 100 proteins & 10.000 clean nucleotides of nucleic acid.
Exosomes transfer increasing factors (for example VEGF, TGF – beta), cytokines and DNA that promote the multiplication, migration and differentiation of cells, while enhancing the construction and regeneration of tissues.
• By using autologous exosomes we activate the regenerating process of ruined tissues.

What’s ExoSmart?

Exosmart is a medical certified system for the collection of autologous proteins and autologous exosomes, originated from the holistic blood plasma.

ExoSmart’s technology has a filter of precision up to 5 nm, which allows us to isolate and collect safely from the blood plasma a huge amount of exosomes, in a condensed autologous serum, proper for healing. By using ExoSmart we can process 30 ml of blood plasma (PRP – PPP) in less than ten minutes. This quantity is gradually being processed by ExoSmart and at the end of the procedure we get an autologous serum filled with Exosomes, proteins and cells.

Exosmart is the only system that allows us to take advantage of the entire strength of autologous exosomes for healing – regenerating purposes.

What’s the quantity and concentration of the final product at the end of the procedure?

Both the quantity as well as the high quality of the serum allow us to use it clinically (by injecting it or not) in places of big interest, such as the face, neck, hands, hairy place of the head, breast and legs for healing – regenerating purposes.

Which are the contraindications of using ExoSmart?

ExoSmart serum is an autologous treatment and no other substances are being used. However, there are a few contraindications, same as the ones using PRP.

Some of them include haemodynamic instability, disorders in the function of platelets, serious thrombocytopenia, sepsis and some types of cancer.

It’s important for the doctor who’s responsible for the treatment to gather up all the information about the patient’s medical history in order to make a decision about the process.

What’s the difference between these specific exosomes and other pharmaceutics?

The European law strictly forbids the trade of human tissues, including exosomes. As a result, autologous exosomes are the only lawful and safe treatment for patients.

ExoSmart is the only system that allows the export of Exosomes through filtering the patient’s blood plasma, eradicating the risk of rejection of biological material or transmission of any illness carried by unknown donors.

There are also pharmaceutics made by plants that mimic exosomes. They’re called PEN, P – EVs or PELN. However, they can only be used externally as beauty products, since they’re not medically certified.
